Designing, running and teaching an academic writing workshop for 15 fellows at the Institut des Etudes Européennes of the Université Libre de Bruxelles [Brussels Free University’s Institute of European Studies] – October 2024.
A general presentation/talk on writing skills and what to focus on when looking to write in a reader-friendly manner, including the importance of knowing your target audience and writing clearly for that audience.
A more interactive part focussing on my suggested edits and comments on the abstracts for all 16 fellows (probably to be done in pairs or groups of four).
A final Q&A session on writing in general for their questions about their other writing assignments (chapters in books, their thesis, journal articles …)
